Alana Cummings spent more than thirteen years in a corporate career before she started coaching. She named her practice Superbloom, after the desert event where seeds lie dormant for years and then flower all at once when the rain finally comes.

The homepage opens on a wall of flowers with Alana standing in front of it, under the headline she wrote herself: it’s time to bloom.

The definition section: the word superbloom broken into syllables like a dictionary entry, with a row of hand-drawn wildflowers growing along the baseline

The site defines the word like a dictionary entry: broken into syllables, with its part of speech and meaning. Below it, a row of wildflowers draws itself up from the baseline as the page loads, stems first, then petals.

The palette is sampled straight from her own logo, so the site matches the brand she already had. Every headline is hers, every testimonial is a real client in their own words, and the trusted-by row lists only organizations she has actually worked with.

The two doors on the homepage: work with me and bring me in to speak, each a full photograph of Alana

The site also runs her practice. She writes and publishes her own blog from a private page, books paid one-session Clarity Calls, and collects her mailing list. We built it over two weeks from her notes and my drafts, and it launched on her own domain a week before the deadline.

Most of her audience arrives from Instagram on a phone, so the mobile layout is a separate build. She is centered in the frame, the headline grows, a small flower blooms between the lines, and the key phrase draws itself in pink as you scroll.

“Working with Eli was incredibly fun, easy, and deeply clarifying. He told me early in the process that creating your website will make you confront yourself deeply, and he was right.”
